Who we are

This policy explains how CK TRADING INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY LLC, 131 Continental Drive, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, doing business as “CK Trader Pro” (“we,” “us”), handles personal information collected through www.cktraderpro.com, our member area, our live education sessions and our tools (together, the “Services”). This policy applies together with our Terms of Use.

What we collect

When you create an account: your username, email address and password.

When you buy a plan: Card payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe also shares with us your name, email address and, if you provide it at checkout, your phone number, along with your plan, payment amount and Stripe customer and subscription IDs. We don’t store full card numbers. We keep a record of your plan, billing dates and your acceptance of our Terms and the automatic-renewal terms.

When you contact us: your first and last name, email address, the reason you chose, and your message.

Sessions may be recorded (see our Terms, Section 16).

Optional information: profile details such as trading experience or interests, if you choose to add them.

Collected automatically: like most websites, our host receives standard technical data when you visit (IP address, browser type, device and operating system, pages requested and timestamps). Some of the tools listed under “Cookies and advertising” below also collect usage data through cookies and similar technologies.

We don’t buy consumer data.

Trade Journal data. If you use the Trade Journal in the member area, we store the trades you enter or import (date and time, instrument, side, contracts, prices, P&L, fees, the account label you choose, your setup tags, notes and any screenshot link) in our website database, linked to your member account. We and our website host use this data only to store your journal and show you your own stats and charts. Statement files you upload are read once to create those entries and are not kept. Your journal is private: other members cannot see it, and we never sell it, share it, publish it (even in aggregate or anonymized form) or use it for advertising or marketing. Our staff access it only when you ask us for help with it, or when needed to keep the site secure. You can download your journal as a CSV file or delete all of it at any time from the journal itself. Your entries are kept until you delete them, or until about 30 days after your account closes, when they are deleted. Copies in our website backups are overwritten on our normal backup schedule, within 30 days.

Why we use it

  • To provide the Services: create and manage your account, give access to lessons, sessions and tools, and run community chat.
  • To process payments and subscriptions: bill renewals, send receipts, and send renewal, price-change and cancellation notices.
  • To communicate with you: answer support requests and send account and security notices; send onboarding and welcome emails when you join. Marketing emails go only to people who opt in, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
  • To measure our advertising: with your consent, to see whether our ads lead to membership interest and purchases (see “Cookies and advertising”). You can opt out at any time.
  • For security and legal reasons: prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with the law.

We don’t use your information to give you personal investment advice, and our Services are education only.

Cookies and advertising

We use:

  • Necessary cookies to keep you signed in, remember your settings, secure the site and process payments through Stripe.
  • Advertising cookies and pixels to measure whether our ads lead to membership interest and purchases. We use Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel ID 1138791868097468 and Meta’s Conversions API. Events we may send, only after you accept advertising cookies (or as otherwise allowed by law), are:
    • ViewContent (viewing a membership page)
    • InitiateCheckout (starting join or checkout)
    • Purchase (completed membership payment), which may include a hashed email address, Meta browser identifiers (_fbp, _fbc), and your IP address and browser user agent so Meta can match the purchase to an ad click. We do not send payment card numbers, bank details, passwords or other account credentials to Meta.

You can manage cookies through our cookie banner (Accept all or Essential only) or the Do Not Sell or Share link in the footer, your browser settings, your Meta ad settings, or optout.aboutads.info. Blocking necessary cookies may stop sign-in or checkout from working. We don’t currently change our practices in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Where required, we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a request to opt out of sale/sharing for targeted advertising.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the Services, and only for that purpose:

  • Stripe: payment processing.
  • GoHighLevel (LeadConnector): our customer-relationship and email platform. When you join, we send it your name, email, phone (if given), plan, payment amount and Stripe customer and subscription IDs so we can set up your membership and send onboarding emails. No card data is sent.
  • Google Workspace: email.
  • Mailgun: sends account emails.
  • InMotion Hosting: hosts the website and keeps server logs.
  • Google Fonts: serves the site’s fonts (receives your IP address).
  • Google reCAPTCHA: protects sign-in from bots (receives your IP address and browser data).
  • Meta Platforms, Inc.: Ad measurement via Pixel and Conversions API (hashed email, browser identifiers, IP address and browser user agent, as described above).

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets (with notice to you).

We don’t sell your personal information for money. If we use advertising cookies or pixels, some state laws may treat that as “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can opt out as described under “Your rights.”

Text messages

We don’t currently send text messages. If we add an SMS option, it will be optional and unchecked by default, consent won’t be a condition of any purchase, and we’ll update this policy first. We will never sell, rent or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep account information while your account is active. We keep billing records and consent records for as long as tax and consumer laws require (for example, we keep automatic-renewal consent records for at least three years). If you ask us to delete your data, we’ll delete it within 30 days, except for limited records we must keep by law.

Security

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t promise absolute security. If we learn of a security incident affecting your personal information, we’ll notify you as the law requires. Never send us passwords, API secrets or account logins by email or through the contact form.

Children

The Services are for adults 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we’ll delete the account.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing emails, by emailing ckga3@cktradinginstitute.org from the address on your account. Depending on your state (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Delaware), you may have additional rights, such as data portability and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. We’ll verify your request before acting on it, and we won’t discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Do Not Sell or Share / opting out of targeted advertising: use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link, choose Essential only on the cookie banner, enable Global Privacy Control in your browser, or email ckga3@cktradinginstitute.org with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.” We will stop loading advertising cookies and Meta events for that browser (and, for email requests, for the account we can verify) within 15 days.

International visitors

We’re based in the United States, and our Services are intended for U.S. residents. If you use them from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. For material changes, we’ll also email registered members before the changes take effect.
